For example, in the question, \u201dCu\u00e1ndo es el examen?\u201d meaning \u201cWhen is the test?\u201d, <em>cu\u00e1ndo <\/em>media <em>cuando<\/em>. We\u2019ll show you some rules to help you decide which \u201dwhat\u201d to use!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pronombres interrogativos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>First, let\u2019s review some important information about interrogative pronouns in Spanish. For example, did you know that all question words have an accent mark when you\u2019re asking a question? That\u2019s why you\u2019ll see <em>qu\u00e9 <\/em>y <em>cu\u00e1l <\/em>con tilde en esta explicaci\u00f3n. En general, habr\u00e1s o\u00eddo que <em>qu\u00e9 <\/em>significa <em>qu\u00e9 <\/em>y <em>cu\u00e1l <\/em>significa <em>que<\/em>. For example, \u201d\u00bfQu\u00e9 cine prefieres?\u201d Is asking what movie theater you prefer. Since a noun comes after the question word, you want to use <em>qu\u00e9<\/em>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Utiliza <em>cu\u00e1l <\/em>con el verbo <em>ser<\/em><\/strong><ul><li>Any time you\u2019re using the <a href=\"http:\/\/conversaspanishinstitute.com\/es\/blog\/ser-o-estar-ser-vs-estar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"Ser o Estar: Ser vs. Estar\">verbo ser<\/a>, you\u2019re going to use <em>cu\u00e1l<\/em>.
