Por ejemplo, si nunca hubieras visto la palabra <em>televisi\u00f3n<\/em> antes, \u00bfsabr\u00edas que significa <em>televisi\u00f3n <\/em>in English? Probably! That\u2019s because there\u2019s a lot these two languages have in common. If you\u2019ve ever wondered, \u201cHow similar are English and Spanish?\u201d then you\u2019ve come to the right place. We\u2019ll take a look at some similarities and differences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entonces, \u00bfen qu\u00e9 se parecen el ingl\u00e9s y el espa\u00f1ol?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>They tend to have many similarities, and that\u2019s partly because they do have a similar root, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Indo-European_languages\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">siendo lenguas indoeuropeas<\/a>. Comparten el mismo alfabeto, con la excepci\u00f3n de que el espa\u00f1ol tiene una letra adicional: la \u00f1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfTienen la misma gram\u00e1tica?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La respuesta es s\u00ed y no. Hay m\u00e1s diferencias que semejanzas, pero sigue habiendo una buena cantidad de solapamientos. Hay algunas diferencias gramaticales clave que es importante se\u00f1alar. Although Spanish has more types of verb conjugations, verbs in English conjugate too!
