For example, \u201cbro\u201d, a common way to refer to a friend, is short for \u201cbrother\u201d, and \u201cBirks\u201d for the brand of shoes Birkenstocks. Esto significa que utilizar la versi\u00f3n completa de la palabra en determinadas circunstancias es gramaticalmente incorrecto. Estos son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Alguno -&gt; alg\u00fan <em>(algunos)<\/em><\/li><li>Bueno -&gt; bueno <em>(bien)<\/em><\/li><li>Malo -&gt; mal <em>(malo)<\/em><\/li><li>Ninguno -&gt; ning\u00fan <em>(ni uno)<\/em><\/li><li>Uno -&gt; un <em>(uno)<\/em><\/li><li>Primero -&gt; primer <em>(primero)<\/em><\/li><li>Tercero -&gt; tercero <em>(tercero)<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, when \u201cuno\u201d isn\u2019t followed by a masculine noun, it stays the same. However, if you\u2019re using that adjective to describe a noun, it has to shorten. In fact, this often happens when people are speaking out loud, and it depends on what part of the Spanish-speaking world they\u2019re from. Lots of Spanish dialects tend to not pronounce the last \u201cs\u201d in a word. For example, the word <em>est\u00e1s<\/em> puede sonar m\u00e1s como <em>est\u00e1<\/em> for some speakers because that\u2019s the dialect they speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otras palabras abreviadas son simplemente m\u00e1s c\u00f3modas, y puede que oigas m\u00e1s la versi\u00f3n abreviada que la larga.
