Sometimes they\u2019re small, like forgetting the difference between <em>ser <\/em>y <em>estar en<\/em>. Other times, you\u2019re having a conversation and refer to your car as <em>borracho <\/em>en lugar de <em>barrato<\/em>. Otras veces, te das cuenta de que la frase que acabas de decir no tiene sentido para la otra persona porque <em>embarazada <\/em>significa <em>embarazada <\/em>en lugar de <em>avergonzado<\/em>. En cualquier caso, sentirse avergonzado por decir algo incorrecto no sienta bien, y hay formas de cambiar de mentalidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C\u00e9ntrate en lo positivo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Just because you made a mistake doesn\u2019t mean you aren\u2019t getting better! Be proud of yourself for stepping out of your comfort zone and trying a new word or phrase. Also, be proud of yourself for having a spontaneous conversation in a language you\u2019re learning. A mistake isn\u2019t an endpoint! It\u2019s all part of the greater learning experience. Whatever word you said on accident is just another vocabulary word for you to learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cI have not failed.
