While learning a new language, there will be times you make an error. Sometimes they\u2019re small, like forgetting the difference between ser <\/em>y estar en<\/em>. Other times, you\u2019re having a conversation and refer to your car as borracho <\/em>en lugar de barrato<\/em>. If you\u2019re shyer and don\u2019t particularly like speaking in your first language, making mistakes can be even harder in your second, third, fourth, etc. It can be so frustrating when you try your best, but still didn\u2019t say it \u201cperfectly.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puede que te sientas avergonzado si est\u00e1s intentando decir algo inocente pero accidentalmente dices una palabra malsonante. Also, be proud of yourself for having a spontaneous conversation in a language you\u2019re learning. A mistake isn\u2019t an endpoint! It\u2019s all part of the greater learning experience. Whatever word you said on accident is just another vocabulary word for you to learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
