For example, in the question, \u201dCu\u00e1ndo es el examen?\u201d meaning \u201cWhen is the test?\u201d, <em>cu\u00e1ndo <\/em>moyenne <em>quand<\/em>. Dans certains cas, les mots de la question <em>qu\u00e9 <\/em>ou <em>cu\u00e1l<\/em> peuvent prendre des significations similaires, comme <em>ce que <\/em>ou <em>qui<\/em>. We\u2019ll show you some rules to help you decide which \u201dwhat\u201d to use!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pronoms interrogatifs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>First, let\u2019s review some important information about interrogative pronouns in Spanish. For example, did you know that all question words have an accent mark when you\u2019re asking a question? That\u2019s why you\u2019ll see <em>qu\u00e9 <\/em>et <em>cu\u00e1l <\/em>avec les accents dans cette explication. Si tu y r\u00e9fl\u00e9chis, il est plus facile de savoir que tu es sur le point de poser une question !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quand utiliser <em>qu\u00e9 <\/em>ou <em>cu\u00e1l<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Il y a quelques r\u00e8gles que tu peux pratiquer pour te familiariser avec l'utilisation. <em>qu\u00e9 <\/em>ou <em>cu\u00e1l<\/em>. D'une mani\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, tu as peut-\u00eatre entendu dire que <em>qu\u00e9 <\/em>moyens <em>ce que <\/em>et <em>cu\u00e1l <\/em>moyens <em>qui<\/em>. Cependant, cela d\u00e9pend en fait de la fa\u00e7on dont les deux langues voient le monde. <em>Qui <\/em>implies that there\u2019s a closed set of information, so certain questions in Spanish use <em>qui <\/em>parce que dans cette ligne de pens\u00e9e, cela a plus de sens. Voici quelques r\u00e8gles :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Utilise <em>qu\u00e9<\/em> avec des d\u00e9finitions. <\/strong><ul><li>If you want to know what something is, you would say, \u201d\u00bfQu\u00e9 significa \u2026?\u201d Similarly, if you hear someone say a word in Spanish that you don\u2019t know and you\u2019re asking for a definition, you could say, \u201d\u00bfQu\u00e9 es \u2026?\u201d<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><b>Utilise <\/b><em><b>qu\u00e9 <\/b><\/em><strong>avant les noms.<\/strong><ul><li>If you\u2019re trying to say <em>ce que <\/em>ou <em>qui<\/em> and a noun is the next word you\u2019re about to say, you generally use <em>qu\u00e9<\/em>. For example, \u201d\u00bfQu\u00e9 cine prefieres?\u201d Is asking what movie theater you prefer. Since a noun comes after the question word, you want to use <em>qu\u00e9<\/em>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Utilise <em>cu\u00e1l <\/em>avec le verbe <em>ser<\/em><\/strong><ul><li>Any time you\u2019re using the <a href=\"http:\/\/conversaspanishinstitute.com\/fr\/blog\/etre-ou-etre-ser-vs-estar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"\u00catre ou ne pas \u00eatre : Ser vs. Estar\">verbe ser<\/a>, you\u2019re going to use <em>cu\u00e1l<\/em>.
