Simply knowing the vocabulary words won\u2019t be much use if we don\u2019t know how to put them in sentences. For example, \u201cNecesito lavar los platos\u201d would mean \u201cI need to wash the dishes.\u201d Note that you don\u2019t conjugate the verb <em>lavar <\/em>because in Spanish, you can\u2019t have two conjugated verbs next to each other.<\/li><li><strong>Quiero + verb phrase= \u201cI want to\u2026\u201d<\/strong> This is how you would express things you want to do. To make it negative, add the word \u201cno\u201d before <em>quiero<\/em>.
