In today\u2019s busy world, so many of us feel pulled in different directions. Maybe it\u2019s hard to imagine that we can ever feel organized and stay focused. When responsibilities pile up, it\u2019s easy for Spanish to wall to the wayside. <strong>Learning to re-center yourself can help you feel calmer, more productive and more in control of your life. <\/strong>This even supports better understanding and memory so you\u2019ll retain more of what you learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is focus?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Focus is giving your full attention to one thing at a time, without harping on the past or worrying about the future.<a href=\"https:\/\/news.harvard.edu\/gazette\/story\/2010\/11\/wandering-mind-not-a-happy-mind\/?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" class=\"ek-link\"> A well-known research study<\/a> by Harvard psychologists <strong>Matthew A. Killingsworth and Daniel T. Gilbert<\/strong> shows that our minds are lost in thought around 47% of the time. That\u2019s almost half of our waking hours! When you see the word \u201cmindfulness\u201d, you\u2019ll probably see the word \u201crelax\u201d right next to it! Practicing mindfulness helps people feel more balanced, relaxed and focused since it\u2019s a way to clear your mind, thus calming you. <strong>When you\u2019re calm, your stress levels go down, and it\u2019s easier to stay present and focus on what you\u2019re doing<\/strong>.
