Basically, the emphasised syllable of a word. A stressed syllable is louder, and there\u2019s a difference in pitch. Can\u2019t we all relate.<\/em><\/p>\n

Savoir quelle est la syllabe accentu\u00e9e dans un mot est tr\u00e8s utile. Cela peut te permettre de savoir si tu prononces papa (pap\u00e1<\/em>) ou la pomme de terre (papa<\/em>).     Comme nous l'avons mentionn\u00e9, il s'agit d'un concept complexe pour les anglophones natifs, car il s'agit d'un territoire compl\u00e8tement nouveau. Vas-y doucement. Si tu n'es pas pr\u00eat \u00e0 apprendre cela par c\u0153ur, aucun jugement ici. Petit \u00e0 petit, cela te viendra naturellement. Et puis, si tu prononces mal une phrase ici ou l\u00e0, on s'en fiche. D'ailleurs, les accents sont ce qu'il y a de plus naturel et de plus beau dans l'apprentissage d'une nouvelle langue.<\/p>\n
