For example, \u201cNecesito lavar los platos\u201d would mean \u201cI need to wash the dishes.\u201d Note that you don\u2019t conjugate the verb <em>lavar <\/em>because in Spanish, you can\u2019t have two conjugated verbs next to each other.<\/li><li><strong>Quiero + verb phrase= \u201cI want to\u2026\u201d<\/strong> This is how you would express things you want to do. To make it negative, add the word \u201cno\u201d before <em>quiero<\/em>.
