You were so excited to practice Spanish with a native speaker, and you were so confident in yourself! Then, the other person started talking, and you had no idea what words came out of their mouth. You feel frustrated, and a little embarrassed. In this article, we\u2019ll help you answer the question, \u201cWhat do I do if I don\u2019t understand?\u201d so you can keep the conversation going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Risposte di una sola parola<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Especially if the other person doesn\u2019t speak English and can\u2019t explain it to you, you\u2019ll want to know how to ask someone to repeat what they just said. <em>\u00bfC\u00f3mo?<\/em> \u00e8 una frase comune simile a <em>Eh? <\/em>in English. It\u2019s short, sweet and to the point to show that you don\u2019t understand what they just said. If you want to show a little more respect, or you\u2019re in a culture that would use <em>usted <\/em>in questa situazione, opta per <em>Ripeti, per favore<\/em>.
